Gossip Girl & Other Stuff

Penn Badgley is on one of my favorite shows, Gossip Girl. I've always thought he was really cute, cuter than Zac Efron :) (haha grandma) He has been interviewed a couple of times in different magazines that I read, and he seems like a nice guy. I have only seen Gossip Girl a couple of times, but it looks really good and I liked what I saw. I am going to go look on netflix after I finish writing this to see if they have the show on there!

Summer Reading

I finally decided it would be a good idea to start my summer reading. So a couple of nights ago I went through both of the books, chapter by chapter, and put an index card in each chapter. Now when I read a chapter, I will write a summary on the notecard that is in that chapter so that when it comes time to do the essay on both books, I will have my notes and be able to whip up a great essay!
The only thing that bugs me about being in enriched classes is that the majority of the class doesn't do their work. So our teacher doesn't dock points because mostly everyone doesn't have the assignment, and the deadline is always extended. That really bugs me because I always have my work done on time and I don't think it is fair to the few of us who do their work. I guess I just don't need to worry about it.
Enriched should be fun though. Mostly all of my friends are in it with me this year, and since we have to stay back a year due to the change to a jr. high, we will be able to be together for at least one more year.
School should be funner than it was last year, I am sorta starting to look forward to it!

Obsessions

Hershey's Kisses- These are the best! They now come in different flavors. My favorite flavor is cherry cordial creme.

Hollister Sweats- I have some that are shorts and that are dark blue with writing similar to this. I got them from my neighbor Tasha and I wear them all the time.

Big Sunglasses- I love big sunglasses. They are my favorite accessory. I have some white ones, some brown ones, and some purple ones like this. I could not live without them!

My Phone- I have a Blackjack 2. Now that I am learning how to use it, I actually like it! Thanks dad for giving it to me.

American Eagle Tee's- I have this exact shirt in teal, and I love it. The American Eagle tee's are so comfy and thin, I love them!

Lipgloss- I love lipgloss. I always have lipgloss with me, at all times. I love Victoria's Secret lipglosses. They are so moisturizing and have great colors.

Sister's Day

I got a full set manicure two weeks ago at Tamy's Nail Salon. I was really impressed with how well my nails looked. Since we were out of town, I skipped a week of getting them filled. So yesterday, I went to get them filled and Allie wanted to come and get her nails done too. I was a little bit hesitant about it at first, because knowing Allie she would choose the darkest color of nail polish and not hold still. But to my surprise, she was great! She didn't move at all for the 35 minutes it took to get her nails done. I did have to help her chose an appropriate color of nail polish, but she loved this pink color. They sat me and Allie next to each other at the salon so that Allie would feel more comfortable. The girl that did Allie's nails was seventeen and she talked to Allie about Hannah Montana. I could tell Allie was just in awe of the salon. She loves her nails! Hopefully we can go again and this time go with the girl cousins around Allie's birthday, that would be fun.

Facebook

I recently made a facebook account after my friends told me it was a lot of fun. You put your high school and graduating year in and you can find all of your friends and people you know from school. It is really fun to keep in contact with those people you don't usually see except for at school. Of course it is private so that nobody can see my page unless I verify that I know them in real life. Its a fun way to keep in touch!

Happy 4th From Zermatt Spa & Resort!

We are up at Zermatt Spa & Resort. Our little family left on thursday morning and we are leaving tomorrow afternoon. It has been a really fun little getaway for us since our last trip was to Disneyland.
The only problem is that Allie had a really hard night last night. She kept our whole family up until about 2:00 in the morning because she 'was dizzy and needed to stand up!'
Anyways, Zermatt is a really nice place. It has a swiss theme and everything is just incredible. We are in a swiss chalet with two queen size beds, a full kitchen, and two bathrooms with a jet tub.
The package that we payed for included a free round of putt-putt golf, four free cups of gelato, eight free rounds on the carousel, and two free pizzas and a movie night in your room.
Tonight we used the movie. We watched 'Horton Hears A Who' with a hawaiian pizza.
Last night we used the gelato, and let me tell you, it is great! I had the swiss version of cookie dough ice cream. It was incredible!
I am sad that we are going home tomorrow, but glad to see my friends and family again. I definitely reccomend Zermatt to anyone!

Silly Allie Sue

This is a conversation that went on at our house this morning:

Allie: Jos, will you help me clean up all of my room?
Me: No, you need to pick up the things that you get out.
Allie: MOM! Joslyn won't pick up my room for me!

I love Allie. She is a silly crazy girl. She keeps things upbeat and happy at our house!
